Press Release – Rebelleo Motorsport and Global Karting League Partnership Announcement

Rebelleo Motorsport is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Global Karting League for the remainder of the 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship.

Abbie Eaton, CEO of Rebelleo Motorsport, expressed her enthusiasm: “I am really excited to partner with Global Karting League. Making motorsport more accessible is something I’m truly passionate about. The pathway that Global Karting League has created effectively addresses the exorbitant costs that have become commonplace at the grassroots level. Global Karting League offers a much more cost-effective route into the sport, and it’s evident that this partnership will create opportunities for kids from all backgrounds. Teaming up with them is a no-brainer.”

Rebelleo Motorsport and Global Karting League share a vision to democratize motorsport and break down inequalities at the grassroots level. Together, we aim to eliminate the barriers that prevent individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds from entering the sport.

Global Karting league is an innovative motorsport performance incubator founded by Rob Smedley (ex Ferrari and Williams F1 engineer). GKL provides a unique system where the participants can race the proprietary, advanced electric race karts with all services provided by the GKL team. Drivers aged 6-16 are provided with identical race karts, coaching, and data analytics straight from the F1 pit wall.  GKL is growing rapidly and will establish 50 championships across the globe by 2030, creating an unprecedented pathway to the top of the sport.

Rebelleo Motorsport is dedicated to addressing social inequality within motorsport. By supporting up-and-coming drivers and aspiring motorsport team members, we aim to break down the barriers preventing individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds from entering the sport. This partnership will lay the foundation to ensure that everyone gets a fair chance to access one of the world’s most beloved sports.
